PS Studios and Kojima Productions have unveiled Hideo Kojima: Connecting Worlds, a documentary film that claims to take you “on a journey into the creative mind of the world’s most iconic video game creator.” The plot appears to concentrate around Kojima’s own independent studio and the creation of Death Stranding.
In the trailer, there are interviews with some of the game’s cast members, including Guillermo del Toro. There are also many gorgeous, slow-motion views of Kojima himself, as well as behind-the-scenes footage from Kojima Productions. The film has no set release date, but the trailer indicates that it will be available “soon.” Hideo Kojima announced that his documentary, Hideo Kojima: Connecting Worlds, will be available exclusively on Disney+.
Hideo Kojima: Connecting Worlds follows the pioneering director as he creates Death Stranding and launches his firm, Kojima Productions. The film also features “shots from the early days of our independent studio, memories from my childhood, and my creative journey,” according to the designer. The film tries to convey the artistic part of gaming, which Kojima embodies better than anybody else.
Hideo Kojima: Connecting Worlds is set to be released worldwide in Spring 2024.
